Instructions:
Symbols - Enter any symbol tracked in our database.
Weights - This is an integer value representing the percent weighting of the symbol in the portfolio.
These should generally add to 100, with other amounts implying some cash or leverage being used. You can avoid
the math and just click the Make Equal Weight button if that is your intent.
Benchmark - SPY is the default, but any symbol can be used.
Rebalance - Select 'Never' for a buy-and-hold simulation, or set for the desired period. Rebalancing happens
on the first day of each selected 'period' (e.g. first trade date of the year, of the month, etc).
Statistics - The Stats include three volatility measures that you want to be low, the Standard Deviation,
Ulcer Index, and Max Drawdown. Additionally there are three return:risk measures where higher is better. These include the Sharpe
Ratio, Sortino Ratio, and Martin Ratio.
